Attempt Burglary Near You - New Line BD3

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of an attempt  burglary that occurred on New Line BD3 area on Wednesday 29th April this occurred in the early hours at 0312hrs and the method of attack was to try and damage the lock on the garage which thankfully they were unable to to do.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Wednesday 29th April approx. 0312hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
